PhD students will have access to the computer facilities of the Departments involved in the PhD program. Thus they will have access to most common scientific software (Maple, Mathematica, MathLab, SAS…) as well as to the most used open source software such as R, Python, SciPy, …

Furthermore, PhD students will have access to the services of the "Competence Centre for Scientific Computing" of the Università di Torino (c3s.unito.it) for assistance and support on high performance scientific computing. Through C3S they will have access to the HPC cluster OCCAM (40 computing nodes with a total of 1088CPUs and 8GPUs).

Starting from the second semester 2019, students will have access to the new  "High-Performance Computing for Artificial Intelligence" (HPC4AI). The cloud GARR will facilitate the access to these resources (more than 5000 CPU, 100 GPU, 5PB storage).
